Matters of the Heart

You’re going to have to excuse me. It’s 3:15 AM and I haven’t slept yet.

I’ve been working on school papers and this book for about 6 hours now.

I’ve gotten in a ton of letters, I think we have 55 or something like that. Once I have them all formatted and stuff I will count them and then put a completed list of everyone who submitted.

Big shout out to Valerie Stewart who donated to us! We aren’t accepting letters anymore but if you still want to donate you can do so up until Friday. We want the book done by Sat to give to the boys on the 6th which is sunday so we won’t be able to accept donations after friday.

I hope that we will have a final price wednesday evening. Then I will be able to set it up for anyone wanting to purchase their own copy.

So I’m going to get back to work on this because I have to get ready for work in a few hours and hen go pick up a few of the girls before we start our leg of the mini tour. Peace out

FIRST thanks Sabine for donating! w00t!  We have a few more last minute people finishing up their letters but it looks pretty good. Sabine suggested that if everyone sent in $5 that would cover the cost of everything. I won’t go that far. If every1 sent in $1 that would be perfect - BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO. It is VERY appreciated - I want each one of the boys to have their own copy. I know sharing is caring but it’s the boys… get real!

And I cannot believe I am about to actually write this out. I thought the GCFam was the one place that I did not have to worry about this. I’ve gotten a lot of shit over the years for being a GC fan as I am sure you all have but I NEVER thought I’d have to defend someone in the fam, FROM THE FAM. That’s just not right.

I was on twitter, and little miss @StephzillaNJ posted a request to submit her questions to her formspring. I know you all know what that is and I am 1000000000% against that site or anything like that (i.e: truthbox, ect). Just absolutely refuse to get one of those. It’s absurd. If you want to say something to me, just say it. Even if it offends me I’m going to have more respect for you as a person for having the balls to say it to my face.

This post was on her formspring: “So basically you’re mad that Ashley and Sara have a cooler project for the gcfam than you, so you made that video shit to get the guys to notice you too? what a bitch….dont bother”

OH NO YOU DIDN’T! I do not know who posted this, and I do not care. You can get fucked. The GCFAM is NOT about HATE. It’s about love, and if you listen to Joely Moley it’s about having a place to belong. This project is about loving them and showing thanks for everything they have done for us fans - giving us a place to belong and fit in.

HOW DARE YOU take our project and try and turn it into something dark. We asked Steph to help us with the project, she made the inside cover for it.  She made it a sticky on the forum to help get the word out and she contributed her own letter to go into the book. 

I cannot speak for Ashley, but I am outraged. We are all supposed to love each other, to help each other. But I cannot love someone who is vicious like that, I cannot respect someone who does not have the courage or the backbone to say something like that to Steph’s face. And to involve us in that hate, to involve me in that hate. I won’t stand for it.

Steph, I love ya girlie but you gotta get rid of that formspring. When you allow hate like that in your life… its just asking for trouble. Surround yourself with positive things and only the positive can touch you.

That’s good advice for everyone! DIG IT. I’ve said my peace, don’t make me do this again. Guys….please, LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!

Many of you have asked about obtaining your own copy of the book - I will have a set price next week. I want to get as many submissions in as possible so I am giving people until the may 31st deadline to get them in before I start giving out numbers. I project it to be in the $15-20 mark. Depends on how many last minute letters we get.

There’s been a rush of letters in the past few days [which is great] so I just wanted to post another updated list of submissions.

The project is ending very soon and we want to thank you all greatly for your interest and participation in this project. It means so much to us and we know it will mean a great deal to the guys.

We are going to have the book done by the end of next week and once we have it printed we will be able to give anyone who was interested in having their own copy proper pricing information. We will also be making a video to upload that shows the book, printed in its entirety.

Photos: If you do not submit a photo we will be forced to use a “No Picture” image in its place. The format needs to be consistent. We do not want to use an “No Picture” image, so please do not make me. Send in a clear, high quality picture. 

IMPORTANT: If we contacted you about a photo or those of your have yet to submit pay attention. WE CANNOT USE A PHOTO YOU DID NOT TAKE. Same with artwork/graphics. If you did not make it you do not own it so do not send it in.

We cannot use a photo taken by a professional photographer (or a graphic by graphic designer). If they were to somehow see it then we can get in big trouble. It’s cool if your friend took the picture of you and say Joel together. You are in the photo and by submitting it you give us permission to use it. That’s fine but you have to own the photo/graphic. I know we did not specify this before, but that totally escaped our minds. 

Remember deadline is May 31st. If anything comes in after the 31st we will not use it. THAT IS THIS MONDAY, ONLY 2 DAYS LEFT NOW!

I wanted to give a nice big shout out to  @AyshieMarie   for her donation.

We priced how much the books are going to cost to make. Roughly about $15 USD each. If we made one for each of the boys (because you know Benji & Joel are hogs and even though they are twins they suck at sharing) it would cost about $75 USD :(

That is not money Ashley nor myself have at the moment. So Any donations big or small are going to help. Right now we have about half the cost of 1 book in donations. Ashley and I are certainly going to cover at least 50% of the cost, but we need more help.

Thanks to anyone who can help, we really do appreciate it.
